Hideaway
Sanctuary carved
from ice and timber.
Located in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, the Hideaway reimagines the traditional Swiss chalet through a lens of brutalist warmth. It is a refuge designed to celebrate the winter solstice.
Floor-to-ceiling glass walls frame the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau peaks, dissolving the boundary between the internal hearth and the frozen wilderness beyond.
